Kevin and Jan Magnussen will pair up to race in the FIA WEC Le Mans 24 Hours, according to High Class Racing.
Jan and Kevin Magnussen, who had discussed racing together at some point during their career, are now teaming up to participate in the 2021 Le Mans 24 Hours for High Class Racing in the LMP2 category. The #49 Oreca 07 will be driven by the duo.
Magnussen Sr will compete in the Cup class for High Class Racing in the 2021 WEC season, with Anders Fjordbach and Dennis Andersen. However, for the Le Mans 24 Hours, Jan will team up with Kevin and Fjordbach to form a three-driver lineup.
Magnussen Jr, who competes in the IMSA-run WeatherTech Championship for Chip Ganassi Racing, will be making his Le Mans 24 Hours debut, driving the Cadillac DPi-V.R in the DPi class alongside teammates Scott Dixon and Renger van der Zande.
